Dr. Theo Prudencio Juhani Z. Capeding is a public health practitioner, researcher, and physician with expertise in health systems, policy, and program implementation. Aside from his role as Executive Director of the Philippine Foundation for Equity in Health, he also serves as Secretary-General of the Philippine Society of Public Health Physicians, overseeing mission operations. His role includes collaborating with various technical working groups and forming strategic partnerships across government, NGOs, and corporations.

Dr. Capeding is a researcher at the Ateneo Center for Research and Innovation and a faculty at the Ateneo School of Government, guiding students on health governance. His research experience includes qualitative action studies on neonatal care access and analyses of health policies, such as the Universal Health Care Act. Dr. Capeding holds a Master of Science in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, a Master of Public Management from Development Academy of the Philippines and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of the Philippines-Manila.
